I am getting a little better, but it's still difficult. I'm a pretty right brained person. It's better if I just pretend it's a puzzle, and try and forget I have a grade riding on how well I do!

Heh. I remember my cataloging class well-- I was one of the few people who actually liked it. I think you have to be a certain kind of person-- namely, extremely analytical and left-brained-- to really get into cataloging.
But I've noticed that it becomes easier to stomach the more you get used to it. I found it to be sort of like math or a foreign language; you have to practice it every day to get good at it.
